I do not plan on wandering far from this small town today. If the temperatures rise a bit more, I'll take a book and head for the outdoor pool, to read and wile away this day.
I made a little run to the store this morning for some supplies for the room and threw some premixed Margarita drinks into my cart. I had to leave them at the checkout counter. Apparently, buying anything with alcohol before noon is frowned upon, not to mention declared illegal by the state of Texas. At least it isn't a dry county here which would make buying anything with alcohol instigating a trip to a wet county.
The husband left yesterday morning for location and hasn't been back to town since. I'm on my own for a while. I have no one to answer to. No one to consider. It's wonderful being selfish and having that selfishness not affect anyone else.
That's my plans for this Sunday here in Columbus, Tx. I'm hoping the temperatures co operate allowing me to be poolside and in the sunshine.
