It's cold and wet out. Breezy, cold and wet and the sun is hiding out.
I'm going to the Little House to get some Christmas decorations and start some decorating inside today.
I've been up for 6hrs and I haven't felt the need to embrace the heating pad. I may be on the mend. I surely hope so because I don't think I can take more of lying in bed and the TV.
I've been watching the Big 3 (automakers) as they assemble in Washington for their share of the bailout pie; watching their entrance into DC in their humble carriages with their proposals to change operations of their companies so they can forestall bankruptcy. Whose next? Just heard AT&T was laying off people. Oil is below 50.00 a barrel and the food prices are still sky high.
I'm thinking I might want to start learning some Spanish. We could be annexed to Mexico and follow some of the outsourced jobs there..or maybe even Canada. If Canada would French be more appropriate? I suppose that would depend on which side of Canada. No one mentions Nafda in all the discussions on what is happening with the auto makers. UAW Union making some compromises. Should be an interesting day.
I'm glad I'm NOT in need a new automobile right now.
